HARVEY

Retired

Name

Harvey

Breed/Color

Chow Chow / Cinnamon

Birthdate

October 19, 2011

Weight

55 lbs.

Personality

Harvey is not a typical chow as he is goofy and loving to everyone, humans and animals. No one told him he is supposed to be aloof and fierce. In fact, he is sometimes timid. He is a retired champion so training him to be a therapy dog was a bit of a challenge, but we got there in the end. He grunts , snuffles and squeals like a pig when happy!

 Training

How Do You Know That Your Dog Loves Therapy Work?

Harvey rushes up the stairs to any facility that we go to. He greets everyone with a happy wag and snuffle and lies at their feet  while they pet him. He will cheerfully follow anyone anywhere.
