Lynnlea's Holiday Spice "Nutmeg"

Female Sable colored Shetland Sheepdog "Sheltie"

December 13, 2007

13 inches at the shoulder - 17 pounds

Our "wild girl", Nutmeg is a special little dog. She seems to know the words to the song, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun". She is very sweet and affectionate, but also has the ability to get into trouble. She's a busy little girl.

We started with puppy kindergarten and have continued with obedience and rally obedience classes.

CGC (Canine Good Citizen)
Delta Society Pet Partner (Registered Therapy Dog)

Year started as a therapy dog:

How do you know that your dog enjoys being a therapy dog?

Nutmeg loves to snuggle up with people. She especially enjoys listening to children read books to her.

Any other information that you would like to include about your dog:

Nutmeg lives with her littermate brother, Cinnamon, and her distant great-uncle Jasper. Whenever she comes home from a therapy visit, the first thing she does is search out Jasper. Jasper's hearing is not very good, and Nutmeg brings him right to me when we get home.
