Favorite Therapy Site

Loyola, adult rehab at Westlake, and loves to do the read program at various libraries. Boston is up to doing just about anything. She loves to be around people and always has a tail wag, smile or hug for everyone. In her free time she loves to go sledding, swimming, dabble in agility or just hang out with her other furry friends. She is not partial to any one toy, but will fetch anything you are willing to throw for hours.

Boston's therapy partner is Julie Bereckis. She is a full time pediatric ICU nurse and works part-time as a veterinary technician. She becaame involved with therapy because everyone thought Boston was such a loving dog and would enjoy it. They were right. Being involved with therapy has been fun and rewarding for both. It is great to help someone work on motor skills, read or to just put a smile on a face

In Memory

Boston gained her angel wings on Sunday, I was so blessed to be owned by such a wonderful canine. Even though she owned me she was everyone's dog. She taught me so much in our short years together, how to live, love and look beyond the surface. She lived to please everyone. She faced all her battles head on. She just loved life and touched everyone she met. It was always all about Boston, I was just the chauffeur and treat dispenser. She allowed me to tag along.

I just want to say thank you to all of you for helping us to grow and mature into the therapy and crisis team we became, We could not have accomplished what we did without the love and support from you all. And when she went through all her treatments you gave us the strength to see them through. I know I probably don't say it enough but thank you, thank you, thank you, for all you have done for us.

She was that one in a million and my heart is shattered. It is not fair that they leave us so soon. Please give all of your fur babies a hug from Deke and I and thank them from us.
