Personality |
Kylo definitely has two sides to him. He is a cuddly boy who loves love. On the other hand, he is very spunky and loves to stay active! He has grown a lot since I adopted him. He was a stray from Alabama for an unknown amount of time, but long enough that he had significant weight loss. He has always been a lover and seeker of human touch. He has made huge improvements with his socialization with other dogs and enjoys running/playing with others now! |

Training |
Kylo and I are always doing something with training - we have a personal trainer from A Sound Beginning (shoutout Steve Frost!), weekly agility classes, biweekly swimming and other classes that may pop up like tricks, rally, or nosework! We are always busy and I like to say that I am a soccer mom for my dog. |

How do you know your dog enjoys being a therapy dog? |
Kylo has been volunteering at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (where I work) since May 2025. He visits the staff (physical, occupational and speech therapists, doctors, nurses, rehab techs, administrative staff) at the DayRehab sites in the suburbs. Kylo gets very excited when I say we are going to go "visit friends". He knows he is about to get lots of cuddles (what we call pets). |
