MACK

 In Memory

Name

Mack

Breed/colo

Black Labrador Mix

Birthdate

December 11, 2004 to June 30, 2018

Height/Weight

74 lbs.

Personality

Mack is a fun loving dog. He loves to play ball and when he is hot, he likes to lay in the stream of the fish pond to cool off. He is a leaner, so when he meets people, he leans against their legs or if they are on the floor petting him, he will sit on them. That is usually good for a laugh or two!!

Training

He did his training with Midwest Canine.

How Do You Know That Your Dog Loves Therapy Work?

Mack knows when it's Tuesday morning. He walks into the shower and gets ready for his bath. He really gets excited when his special leash and collar come out and starts to pace when it get's close to 1:30 pm and the time we leave to go to the hospital.

Mack is a very laid back dog and more than tolerant of dressing up for various events. So whether he is dressed up for Halloween or Christmas, he makes people laugh. Whether he is with patients in the hospital or laying on the floor with kids reading to him, he leaves them with a smile and feeling good for having met him.

In Memory

Our pets are such an important part of our lives. They bring so much happiness and unconditional love. But God only gives them to us for short period of time. Well, today God took Mack back home. He was 13+ years old and enjoyed a great life. He loved working at Edwards for over 10 years and reading with the kids. He was known for his costumes especially the green glasses on St. Patrick's day. He brought smiles to many people. He was my best friend.

Miller and Helen were with him when he passed. They will have some big shoes to fill.

Now you are with many wonderful friends on the rainbow bridge.

I will miss you - until we meet again. Good by dear friend.
