45 lbs.

Cooper is a pretty laid-back guy with a sweet, easy going personality. He has a calm, relaxed presence. He is very "readable" and you can often tell what he's thinking. He is very energy-sensitive and picks up on the moods of people who are around him. He can be very "birdy" and alert when he is near a window or is outdoors because he is a sporting dog and simply being outside is what he considers to be his highest reward. He is a good big brother to his sister dog. He is an excellent cuddler and loves to be petted.

Cooper has participated in manners, hunting, agility, tricks, nose work and therapy skills classes.

How Do You Know That Your Dog Loves Therapy Work?

Cooper really enjoys being petted, brushed and touched in general. While he's working, Cooper will often roll over to ask for a good belly rub or he will give a "hip nudge" with his hip or back end signaling friendliness and that he is trusting of the person with whom is visiting. Many people comment on how much more relaxed they are after visiting with him because of the calming "vibe" that he gives off.
