DR. WATSON

Name

Dr. Watson

Breed

Goldendoodle

Birth Date

January 21, 2018

Weight

45 lbs.

Personality

Happy go lucky, non-shedding fluff who loves belly rubs and making new friends. Sometimes he's quite goofy. He's never met a sock that he didn't want to quietly steal, and then parade around with the sock in his mouth. He has made great friends with cats, rabbits, and children, but he remains leery of iguanas and isn't too sure about turtles.
Training
  • AKC Canine Good Citizen
  • Certified Pet Partner

How do you know that your dog loves therapy work?

Dr. Watson's favorite thing is to make new friends and brighten someone's day with his smile and tail wags. If he gets a few good belly rubs out of it, everyone wins! He started his therapy dog work in South Florida where he visited schools, hospitals, seniors centers, an addiction and recovery center, and provided support for trauma survivors. He adapts well to each of these environments, matching his energy level to sit quietly for ear rubs from his favorite Grandma G or rolling around on the floor with his university student friends as they take a break from the stress of finals.
