Personality |
A very sweet, sensitive girl who, nonetheless, is confident around people and other dogs and cats. Shimmer is very smart and only needs to be shown what to do a couple of times before she understands what you want. She loves walks, having her long coat groomed, and visiting with friends. Shimmer is always open to new adventures! |
| Training |
Shimmer started her life as a conformation dog and after earning her championship, came to live with me. She has had to learn new behaviors which were different than what she already knew. She has attended obedience classes and accompanied me to new places to practice her skills with new people. Shimmer has also started competing in Rally Obedience for more experience to further in new places. She is a peach to work with!! |

How do you know that your dog loves therapy work? |
Shimmer loves people and when she meets someone who pets her, her tail starts to wag a lot! She is also quite sensitive and nurturing and will often gently lean into someone who is petting her. She clearly enjoys the interaction! |
